On Thursday 20th May 2010 SINTILLATE Tenerife launch our new night at Monkey Beach, Monkey Beach Club is the newest, sexiest beach bar in the south of Tenerife, with all the best names in the music industry beginning to head this way. The long line of clubbing and pre party events planned for the near future is going to make this the ultimate club chill out bar.... and right on the beachfront whilst the sun sets - what better way to club!.

BEACHES
Whether you are seeking monster surf for a bit of body boarding, secluded coves and scenic shores to chill out, or have decided that the two-tone look is so eighties and it's time that your white bits matched the rest of your body, Tenerife's beaches have got the lot with plenty of nudist, black sand and golden sand beaches off the beaten track to suit, provided you know where to look.
Playa del Duque beach is in a small 5 star beach with beach huts and cocktail service, this beach is in a quiet, sheltered bay with fantastic views out into the Atlantic, perfect for sunsets!: watch the yachts glide effortlessly by and the parascenders float through the sky. There are plenty of fixed straw parasols and loungers available (to hire) and sun-bleached walkways to prevent burning your feet on the blistering hot sand. Surrounded by designer boutiques and upmarket shops and restaurants, bars and cafes it's an oasis of good taste.
  
La Troya Beach has Black volcanic sand and calm waters. It is central to Las Americas and is next to and on Monkey Beach! this beach has easy access and is near to the shops and restaurants and has all sorts of water sports for you to enjoy.
  
Las Vistas is located in Los Cristianos, and is one of the longest and most popular beaches in Tenerife. The waves are still and it has fine golden sand. Pedal boats and jet-skies are available for hire and is also near to the shops and restaurants.
  
ATTRACTIONS
Masca
For scenery a visit to the northwest tip of the island of Tenerife, around the picturesque village of Masca, is hard to beat. The village is set in the Teno Mountains, clinging to the slopes of a deep green ravine beside a narrow road a full of alarming hairpin bends. Until recently Masca was off the beaten track and not accessible by road. The zigzag drive from Santiago del Teide has now opened up the village and its magical setting, reputed to have once been a pirates hideaway.
Piramides de Guimar
On the east coast of Tenerife, south of Santa Cruz, stand six mysterious step pyramids of which archaeologists have yet to discern the origin. The pyramids were initially thought to be just remains of agricultural stone terraces, or random piles of stone cleared from fields by early Spanish settlers. However Thor Heyerdahl, the Norwegian anthropologist who lived in Guimar on Tenerife until his death in 2002, thought differently. His research indicated that the pyramids were constructed on similar principles to those in Mexico, Peru and ancient Mesopotamia. The pyramids are now enclosed in an Ethnographic Park; the site includes a museum, life-size replica of Heyerdahl's reed ship Kontiki, a cafeteria and souvenir shop.
  
Teide National Park
The Parque Nacional de las Canadas del Teide was declared a protected area in 1954 and has become recognised as offering one of the most spectacular landscapes of the world, including an enormous volcanic crater with a circumference of 30 miles (48km), out of which rises the highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide. In contrast to the coastal regions of Tenerife, winter in the park, which lies at about 6,562ft (2,000m) above sea level, brings snowfall and gale force winds, while in summer temperatures can soar to above 104F (40C). A cable car carries visitors to the summit.
Monkey Park
Described as the "biggest little zoo in the World", the Monkey Park Tenerife is an international breeding centre for endangered species of primates. Situated less than a 5 minute drive from the centres of both Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas, the Monkey Park offers visitors the opportunity to interact with, and feed a wide variety of animals including iguanas, toucans, lemurs, squirrel monkeys, marmossets and parrots.
  
Siam Park
Europes greatest water-park, Siam park is a thrilling oriental adventure in the south of Tenerife and is filled with adrenaline pumping attractions, diverse animals, warm lazy river and golden beaches plus a surf school and wave pool like no other.
Set in a tropical oasis which reflects the ancient kingdom of Thailand, you can enjoy some of the most breath-taking water rides ever created by man. Ride the Dragon, the Mekong Rapids or if you're ready to take the plunge, the Tower of Power for an incredible supercharged adrenaline rush! Once you enter the old world of Siam you are taken into a mystical paradise where you will be amazed and thrilled by the beautiful scenery which surrounds you.

Aqua Park
Located in Costa Adeje this is the main Aqua Park on the island. There's a free bus every day from Playa de las Americas. As well as a nice choice of slides for people of all ages, there's a dolphon lake and dolphin shows too.
Watersports
As you would expect from an island in the Atlantic Ocean, watersports play an important part in Tenerife life. The crystal clear waters of the coastline make it ideal for diving and snorkeling, whilst the excellent waves are a firm favorite with surfers, kite boarders and windsurfers from around the globe. Jet skiers, water-skiers and wake boarders also flock to the islands shores to enjoy the superb weather and excellent conditions.
Diving is an opportunity not to be missed in Tenerife, feel the exhilaration of jet-skiing - no experience needed!, Windsurfing - There are several prime spots for windsurfing on Tenerife, in particular El Medano and El Cabezo, try parascending, where the hour-long trips are for all ages. Sailing, whether you're looking for a charter or professional training, Tenerife has it all and finally Learn how to waterski at the school in Puerto Colon.
  
SHOPPING
There is a vast array of shops in Playa de las Americas and you can indulge in duty-free delights in the numerous electrical stores and clothing shops. Those in the mood for some haggling should go to the Torviscas Market (Thursday and Saturday from 10am); there are great bargains to be had and it's great for presents, but you should get there early as it can get very crowded. A trip to Santa Cruz (one hour by bus) is worthwhile for those looking for designer clothes.
