Classic cocktails, decadence and old-fashioned glamour are some of the three ways this new locale has been described. On the walls, you'll find strokes of Art Nouveau, on the floor, authentic wooden slabs. The bar will be designed in the style of old New York, while there'll be other pretty touches dotted around: Chinese parasols, antique, stained mirrors and swish exposed brickwork noticeable behind and around some pricey works of art.
But more importantly, The Lucky Pig is claiming to be able to make some irresistible drinks. So what will you be served if you do indeed take up a seat in one of the private 'cubby holes' they'll have lining the 150-capacity venue? The cocktail menu, devised by Olly Hornby Smith (Soho House Group) will feature classic, simple tipples all served in ornate glassware.
