Over the last 9 years Sintillate has entertained the most fashion conscious crowd, from London, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Brighton, Sharm El Sheikh, Marbella, Dubai, Birmingham and Newcastle has to offer. From models to pop-stars to contemporary fashionistas, these bold & beautiful people have celebrated life at Sintillate parties.
But the real question is - what are the fashion and dress codes do's and dont's? Well:
- 1. Do try and be individual... there is nothing worst than a club full of people wearing the same thing.
- 2. Don't wear sunglasses in a club... One, the lights are never that bright! Two, it is extremely naff and tremendously uncool (for those that do not know this already!) Besides the eyes are the window to your soul.
- 3. Do wear deep and intense colours of Red, Oranges, Purples and Aubergines, to Inky Blues, Sea Greens, finishing with Apricot Gold's. If you are not bold enough you can add the colour with your accesories.
- 4. Don't wear too many colours at once - keep it simple and sleek
- 5. Do make an effort, you can always tell those who have ?? stand out from the crowd (in a good way)!
- 6. Don't wear a trucker cap - full stop! Come on people it is over; let's give that look back to Middle America!
- 7. Do experiment with accessories, they can really make an outfit if you get them right.
- 8. Don't try and rock the 'less is more' look to your outfit ... you'll only end up getting the wrong kind of attention
- 9. Girls & Boys - wear scarf's - they look good on men and women and are great accessories.
- 10. Girls - The dress is back in a big way, with some killer heals, you will be ultra feminine and sexy
- 11. Boys - Do maybe try wearing SHOES (they are the new trainer and most venues are have a No Trainer Policy now!)
- 12. Girls - Do rock your designer handbag, its the ultimate arm candy, and will make you stand out in any crowd!
- 13. Boys - Don't keep rocking those same old tired t-shirts (Think denim with classic shirts, cashmere sweaters, narrow fine wool trousers and smart shoes. This look is easy to wear and distinctive)
- 14. Girls - Do wear designer shoes - they are the ultimate accessory - Square toes, crocodile skin, triple-buckles, and bohemian fringing are just some of the things back for this season, along with Skyscraper heels, ankle boots, T-bars, and platforms are the styles to go for
- 15. Boys - Do feel free to pull up your trousers! Some of you are making it VULGAR and we know you have belts!
- 16. Girls - Sequins, bows, and statement tights (do wear them with another stand out colour - just keep it solid) are all in this season, just some great ways to stand out in the crowd
- 17. Boys Avoid drab colours, add unexpected flashes of bright colour to your outfit
- 18. Girls Statement necklaces are a major must this season, the bigger the better
- 19. Boys The winter warmer must have is the cardigan - this is not your Grandad's cardigan, this has a slimmer, more modern cut, thin enough to wear over a shirt and under a jacket or with a T and jeans - it's the most versatile item you can have
- 20. Do have a manicure, there is a lot to be said about looking groomed. Please note: talons are not fashionable, short & neat is best. Longer than an inch is plain vulgar
- 21. Don't style yourself along the lines of the following: A pimp, An MTV video hoe, any member of Footballers Wives, A Chav, LA gangsta or Eurotrash! (wrong, wrong, wrong!)
